Minnesota World War II Memorial Dedication St. Paul, Minnesota June 9, 2007

A new memorial was dedicated to our World War II veterans at the State Capitol in St. Paul.
Many WWII veterans were in attendance along with thousands of people to honor them. Many of our local restored World War II vehicles were on display on the Capitol grounds.

Dan's Thompson was one of the triggering mechanisms for the memories. Here, two vets were discussing the usage during the war. Another discussed his time in Europe. There were almost 4700 vets registered that day for the dedication. Keep their memory alive, they are going away from us at a rapid rate.  "Lest we not forget"
