Living Military History Day – May 2008 Held at Traxler’s Hunting Preserve, Le Center, Minnesota My friends, Mike and Dan take refuge from the heat by sitting in Dan’s MB. German units were there in force. Rare International 1/2 track owned by another Red Bull club member. Lots of small encampments were around to look at. The Germans were everywhere. A small but excited bunch of Canadian re-enactors. And I left the Bren Gun Carrier home. Not next year!! Getting ready to ambush the Germans. The back three decided to talk Jeep. A combined Canadian and US forces attack the advancing Germans. The Germans were overtaken and the 1/2 track destroyed. Five T6 Trainers did mock strafing runs. Here they are coming in over the swamp to attack the 1/2 track. Very low-to-the-ground runs made it very exciting. The smoke you see was the mock explosion of the 1/2 track. My WC4 with the 50 on top acting out anti-aircraft fire for the crowd. Yes, I know it is our own planes, but the crowd liked it.
